New Interactive Map of Public Rights of Way in Cawston
Cawston Parish Council is pleased to share a new interactive map of Public Rights of Way across the parish.
This online map has been created to help residents and visitors easily explore the network of footpaths that connect our village and surrounding countryside. Whether you’re planning a short walk, a longer route, or simply want to better understand the local area, the map provides a simple and accessible way to view these routes.
The map allows you to:
-
View the full network of Public Rights of Way within Cawston
-
Zoom in to see specific routes and connections
-
Explore how paths link to neighbouring areas and the wider countryside
-
Use it on your phone or computer while out and about
Public Rights of Way are an important part of our rural community, supporting walking, cycling and access to nature. They also play a key role in health and wellbeing by encouraging outdoor activity and helping people enjoy the natural environment.
We hope this new tool will encourage more people to make use of Cawston’s excellent network of paths.
If you notice any issues with a route (such as obstructions, damaged signage or maintenance concerns), please report these directly to Norfolk County Council using their online reporting system.
